Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson have decided to call time on their relationship for the second time. Representatives for 20-year-old model Gigi confirmed to People that the duo have amicably split."Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," read a statement given to the American magazine. "They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future."

An insider close to the former couple also told Us Weekly that one of the main reasons for the separation is that Cody and Gigi are rarely able to spend quality time together in the time location."They are hardly ever in the same city anymore," said the source. "And he's entirely West Coast based now while she is everywhere. "Australian singer-songwriter Cody, 18, is gearing up to release his first independent album Free and is currently on tour in Amsterdam.

Gigi, who attended the Met Ball on 3 May, has been taking part in numerous high-profile fashion campaigns for brands including Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford and will soon appear in Taylor Swift's upcoming Bad Blood music video.Their conflicting and busy schedules was one of the main reasons that the couple decided to split for the first time in spring 2014.They were soon back together, however, and spent New Year's Eve in Dubai with stars including Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Victoria's Secret model Devon Windsor and actress Shay Mitchell.Most recently Gigi and Cody were spotted hanging out with their famous friends at Coachella.
