Ashton Kutcher has expressed his support for his former step-daughter Rumer Willis as she competes in the finale of Dancing with the Stars. The actor urged fans to vote for Rumer and her professional dance partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy in a Facebook post on Monday night.
"We are so proud of you Rumer! Please vote for @TheRue & @iamValC," he wrote.
Ashton has kept in touch with Rumer following the end of his relationship with her mother Demi Moore in 2011, and Rumer admitted she reached out to him and his partner Mila Kunis following the birth of their daughter Wyatt Isabelle in October.
Rumer has had the full support of her family throughout her time on the reality show, with her parents Demi and Bruce Willis reuniting in the audience to cheer her on.
While he is known for his tough guy persona, Bruce was even moved to tears by Rumer's performance on Monday – a moment that his daughter Tallulah Willis was not going to let go unnoticed.
Sharing a picture of their emotional dad on Instagram, Tallulah wrote: "Look at this cutie tearing up from my insanely magical [sister's] dance. We are all so proud of you Rue."
Ashton and Bruce are not the only stars rooting for Rumer; Gwyneth Paltrow, Sofia Vergara and Miley Cyrus have all tweeted in support of the 26-year-old as she continues to impress on the reality show.
"It's so nice. It's awesome," Rumer told Us Weekly of her famous fans. "I really appreciate that."
Rumer also admitted how much her experience on the show has meant to her while paying tribute to her dance partner.
"I was so scared my whole life to try anything or to fail," she said during Monday night's finale. "And you didn't really ever let me. I've never really had anybody who's believed in me like that."
