On Tuesday evening, the dancer took to Twitter to reveal that her agent had been contacted about the pregnancy rumours – "I wanted my fans to be the first to know…," she teased in a first tweet."BREAKING NEWS," she then joked. "I'm just FAT!!"

Her supportive husband James Jordan was among the first to respond. "Good to see your not in denial babe…" he tweeted. "Don't worry about what others think & at least u can say u r with Brad Pitt!!"Ola's announcement came just a few hours after she and James hit the red carpet at Lorraine Kelly's High Street Fashion Awards. The pretty blonde star showed off her curves in a tight blue maxi dress, her hair falling loose around her shoulders.Ola, 32, seems to be back to full health after a nasty fall while training for The Jump – and it has been confirmed that she will be taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing when it returns later this year.

Strictly isn't the only TV project on her mind. It has been revealed that Ola and James will take part in series two of the popular ITVBE show Seven Days With….The programme follows famous celebrity couples for a week; Tamara Ecclestone and her husband Jay Rutland were among those who took part in the first series.Also appearing in the upcoming season are Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington and her husband Harry Needs, who are filmed as they prepare for the birth of their first child. Viewers will also get an inside look at the blossoming romance between Jake Quickenden and Danielle Fogarty, and spend a week with The Wanted's Tom Parker and his girlfriend Kelsey Hardwick.
