Rumer Willis danced her way out of her famous parents' shadow with a series of incredible performances on Dancing with the Stars and on Tuesday she was crowned the winner.
As her name was called out 'Team Rumer' erupted with joy. Her mother Demi Moore screamed with delight and father Bruce Willis pumped the air. Meanwhile, younger sisters Tallulah and Scout jumped up and down hugging each other.
The 60-year-old Die Hard star was accompanied by his wife Emma Heming, who also appeared to share a brief moment of celebration with Demi.
In her final turn round the floor with professional partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy, their girl executed a flawless routine, that was a foxtrot/paso doble fusion and earned her yet another perfect score.
She told People: "After three months of dancing every day, my favorite thing is getting to dance with Val.
"That was the last time on this stage that I got to do that, so I wanted to make it the best I possibly could."
On Tuesday, her fellow competitors hoisted the triumphant duo on to their shoulders. Host Tom Bergeron said: "This is usually when I ask how they feel. You know, are they happy. I think so".
Rumer had a formidable roll call of celebrity supporters including her former stepfather Ashton Kutcher who talked of his pride on his Facebook page. In addition Gwyneth Paltrow, Sofia Vergara and Miley Cyrus all tweeted in support of the 26-year-old, rallied by Demi.
After the show the twinkle-toed brunette was full of praise for her mother. "To have such incredible support, especially from my mom who rallied everyone, I feel so grateful. It means so much."
However it was the fans that really showed her the love, with a group of them making a social media account to back Rumer. They also rang in in their droves to vote for the striking brunette, impressed by her grace, work ethic, and honesty in admitting her insecurities.
