At the 2014 National Television Awards, Mark was by his former soap star love's side when Coronation Street scooped the prize for Most Popular Serial Drama. "Me and @markwright @wrighty_ on Wednesday night #nta X," Michelle posted with a picture of the couple posing in all their finery.Michelle has also been on hand to support her partner's career and she shared a photo of herself touching up the 28-year-old's make-up when he was shooting for his calendar. In November 2013 the duo headed on a romantic holiday together.Michelle posted a close-up of her and her husband-to-be. Bathed in sunlight and smiling into the camera, the actress showed off her sparkling engagement ring while Mark wrapped his arms around her. In a touching reference to how inseparable they are, Michelle captioned the snap with some of the lyrics to Emeli Sande's song Next To Me, writing: "You'll find him, you'll find him next to me."

Later in the day Mark tweeted an image of the pair's picture-perfect beach-side dinner. "Our last night !! Of the best holiday!! What a week it's been !! #soooohappy," Mark captioned the snap, which showed a sun-kissed Michelle sitting on her fiancé’s lap.
