Naomi Campbell rings in 45th birthday with star-studded Cannes castle bash

Naomi Campbell rang in her 45th birthday in true supermodel style on Saturday – surrounded by a host of celebrity friends in the most glamorous setting of a privately hired Cannes castle. The beauty partied at Château Saint Jeannet, a 15-bed fortress outside Nice, France, where she was joined by the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Mary J. Blige, Adrien Brody, Kendall Jenner, and Gigi Hadid.

Singer Mary J. Blige shared a photograph of herself, Naomi and Leo at the extravagant bash with fans on Instagram, writing alongside the snap: "One of my favorite actors of all time and our generation @leonardodicaprio! Great people great party!" Mary added.

Captioning another shot of herself posing with the birthday girl, Mary wrote: “Happy Birthday @iamnaomicampbell!! Thank you for sharing this special day with us. What a beautiful party love you!!!”

Naomi was the belle of the ball in a stunning Versace dress featuring white, glittering silk interspersed with nude panels.

The one-shoulder number was set off with stacks of silver bracelets, and the statuesque beauty wore her hair in a poker-straight style.

The world-famous model shared a series of pictures from the with fans, including of herself sitting at an elaborately-designed table and of her birthday cake, which was a personalised raspberry and blackberry cake that read "Happy birthday Naomi" in cream.

She also posted a thank you to her friends on Instagram after the party, writing,"#BestBirthday in the world . Thank you all who made it happen".

An Insider told HELLO! Online that singer Mary, who was a surprise guest, serenaded revellers and had a special message for Naomi herself. "You are one of the most beautiful women to walk the earth, and I am honoured to be your friend and know you," she said.

The enchanting castle, which has previously been hired by Madonna, was decked out especially for the occasion, with lavish touches including two walls covered with red roses, a swimming pool filled with baubles and an entire wall covered by hundreds of magazine covers with none other than Naomi on the front cover. Spinning tunes throughout the evening was Brooklyn-born DJ M.O.S.
