Friendly exes Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead treated their daughter Betsy to a weekend in Disneyland, Paris. The duo, who called time on their marriage two years ago, were all smiles, holding onto one of their little girl's hands each. In a flowery summer frock, the four-year-old looked delighted to have both her parents with her for the outing.

The family were joined by other stars such as Michelle Heaton at the launch of the attraction's Frozen Summer Fun season, which gives visitors the chance to meet the characters Anna and Elsa.

In the last year Denise has found love again with handsome stockbroker Eddie Boxshall. She recently celebrated her 41st birthday with Eddie who appeared to have treated her to a meal out. The bubbly blonde posted an Instagram post of the couple with a birthday cake and captioned it: "Love you".

Just before meeting her new man, she told HELLO!: "I've had a few offers and I've had all my friends trying to set me up but it's only now that I feel ready. I'm excited and looking forward to having a bit of fun."

The mother of one added she gets on well with West End star Lee. "People keep asking me if 40 signifies a new beginning or a fresh start but I don't feel like I've had a terrible time," she says.

"I'm one of the few people who has gone through a break-up and it's remained amicable. We've got a good balance. We split the childcare and everything is genuinely good between us."

It's good that Lee is so supportive of her as a working mother as Denise has her hands full with a role on EastEnders, playing trouble-making businesswoman Karin Smart.

Denise said she had the "best time" filming at Albert Square. "You realise how hard working the actors are, how brilliant they are, how they can just switch it on like that," the actress commented. "Film actors get to be all method and sit in a trailer for half a day finding the character, to deliver two lines in a scene and get to re-shoot it about 50 times on every angle."
