She's known for her fashionable wardrobe, but this week her football star father proudly showed off an item that had more to do with his career than her designer mother's. David Beckham shared a picture of his daughter Harper's version of the England Women's football kit.

The strip has her name on it and the number seven - this was his own number when he played and is his little girl's middle name.

He told followers: "What an amazing gift from the @england woman's team for Harper. Good luck to the team tomorrow in their first game against France."

The uniform should certainly get some use as the youngest Beckham of the bunch loves playing football, much to her father's delight. Last Friday he posted a picture of her about to take aim at a ball in their back garden, explaining that she was being coached by her brothers Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, and Cruz, ten.

He jokingly compared her to women's football heroine Mia Hamm. The former England team captain wrote: "Mia Hamm eat your heart out Harper Seven taking lessons from her brothers ( oh and her dad )," alongside a heart emoji.

On seeing the photo fans began predicting she would be England captain by 2030. However, David's fashion designer wife has mixed feelings about having a future female football star in the family.

Speaking at the Fashion Icons event in New York recently, Victoria said: "Harper loves football. It's like a dagger going into my heart!

"She's got little shoes and a little football shirt and she runs around in the garden with her brothers. So as much as she is girly, she's a tomboy as well."

The mother-of-four can't complain too much. Harper regularly attends her fashion shows, always looking adorable and runway ready. David has also revealed that their daughter loves to wear ballerina outfits paired with her mother's heels.
