Khloé Kardashian is heartbroken after the loss of a good friend. The reality TV star tweeted about the death of Jamie Sangouthai who was best friends with her estranged husband Lamar Odom. Aged just 37, he is thought to have died from a drugs overdose, reports TMZ.
She wrote on Twitter: "When does it stop? RIP Jamie Sangouthai" and accompanied the post with an emoticon of a broken heart. This was followed hours later by another post featuring more heart emojis and a series of sad faces.
Her best friend Malika Haqq also shared an Instagram picture of the four of them together in happier times. She wrote that had been "a season of stress, pain, grieving and unexplainable events." Malika advised followers to "believe in the ones you love, ask for help, let go of pride, give forgiveness a chance, hold a hand a little longer and tell your true feelings to everyone you meet".
Like the 6ft 10in basketball ace, Jamie was from the borough of Queens in New York. He appeared on their reality show Khloe & Lamar.
The sad news comes after another friend of hers died. Rap star Chinx, who was a friend of Khloé's ex French Montana was the victim of a drive-by shooting. She wrote on Instagram: "We've only known each other a short period of time but it was the best time, full of memories that I will cherish for forever".
Khloé dated French after the break down of her relationship with Lamar. She filed for divorce in December 2013 from the sports ace but the separation has yet to be formalised.
The loss of his friend is the latest in a series of tragic incidents for Lamar. His mother died when he was 12 and his father was a heroin addict.
He went on to have three children with an ex-girlfriend but his youngest son died of cot death aged six months.
Khloe seemed to be thinking of Lamar during a final post on Instagram, which bore the note: "Life doesn't get easier, but I promise you that life will make you stronger."
