Dan Osborne has written an open letter to explain to his son Teddy why he is no longer in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Megan Tomlin. The former TOWIE star, who now has a four-month-old daughter Ella with fiancée Jacqueline Jossa, said that ending his relationship with Megan was "for the best".

"I hope you appreciate it was the right thing to do for me not to be with your mum," Dan wrote in Now magazine. "We weren't in a good relationship and I didn't want us to be miserable, so I hope you understand it's for the best this way."

The 23-year-old also revealed that he had previously been worried that his two children would never meet each other.

Dan wrote: "A while ago, I feared you might never meet each other and it was heartbreaking. So I know how lucky I am that you get to spend as much time together as possible."

The dad-of-two continued to admit he would love to have more children with EastEnders actress Jacqueline.

"I'll let you both grow up a bit and maybe we'll have more brothers and sisters for you. I'd love to give you at least two more," Dan wrote.
