Sofia Vergara is keeping quiet about the details of her wedding to Joe Manganiello, but her Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen thinks it will be an incredible party. Speaking to HELLO! at the Max Mara Women in Film event in West Hollywood, the actress said Sofia's family will ensure it's a celebration to remember.
"Her family is like a party in a can," Julie revealed. "You just unleash the Colombians, and they just do like this mellow shake for like three days going. I'm not kidding you. They’re like, 'It's Uncle Nando!' He's like 95, and he never sleeps, and he never stops dancing."
The 45-year-old admitted there was one thing in particular she can't wait to see.
Julie Bowen says she is "pysched" to see Sofia Vergara's wedding dress
"I'm psyched for the dress!" she said.
Julie, who has been married to business mogul Scott Phillips since 2004, also offered marriage advice to her co-star and her actor fiancé.
"Marriage is hard and long and she's also been married… She's doing just fine. She should just stick a sock in his mouth if he really starts to misbehave," she joked, adding that she thinks the Magic Mike star is the perfect match for her friend.
Julie explained: "He's nothing but polite and lovely and more importantly he dotes on her, and I love that."
Sofia has revealed she will marry Joe Manganiello "soon"
While they are still enjoying the engagement bliss, babies for the couple have been on everyone else's minds.
"It sort of seems unfair. It's almost genetic engineering," Julie said. "It's right there – it's getting up there with the finest of the finest meets and breeds with the best of the best."
She added: "They'll have beautiful children."
While Sofia has remained very tight-lipped about her upcoming nuptials, the actress recently revealed that the wedding was going to happen "soon".
Speaking to E! News at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation's Los Angeles Golf Classic event, Sofia added that the wedding was taking place "very far away [in a] very secret place where nobody is going to find us," before joking, "It's on a plane!"
