A day after Penelope Cruz's father passed away, the actress arrived at the funeral home to say farewell to her beloved dad. The family, including Penelope's mother, step-mother, and siblings, will later honour her father with a funeral service.
Penelope arrived at La Paz, a morgue in Madrid around midday, united with her family in their grief. Penelope's husband, Javier Bardem, kept close to her as they made their way into the home and later as the family welcomed each other with warm hugs.

Her father, Eduardo Cruz died after reportedly suffering a heart attack. The brother of Eduardo's wife Carmen Moreno confirmed the news to HELLO! magazine's sister publication HOLA! on Thursday morning.
The 62-year-old lived with his wife Carmen and their three-year-old daughter Salma, in a small town outside of Madrid.
Penelope had a good relationship with her father, and he occasionally supported her at her film premieres in Madrid. Last summer the father-of-four was also pictured visiting the actress on the set of her movie Ma Ma.
Friends of the family, including actor Antonio Banderas have tweeted the actress their love and support, with Antonio sharing on social media site Twitter a picture of a sunset and the words "my heart is with #PenelopeCruz and her family in these difficult moments".
Pirates of the Caribbean star Penelope has not yet commented on her father's death, but the 40-year-old has previously said that family is the most important thing in her life, and admitted she had taken a step back from her own movie career to help raise her two children with husband Javier – Leo, three, and Luna, 21-months.
"You need to have time for your own life and as a mother that changes even more," she told The Mirror. "Family is the most important thing for me… and if you have children you want to raise them yourself."
