Chris Brown had more than one reason to celebrate on Sunday – not only was it his first father's day as a dad, it was also his daughter Royalty's first birthday. The 26-year-old pulled out all the stops for his daughter's special day by hosting a Princess themed party which he shared with his fans on Instagram.
The proud dad treated his little princess to two delicious cakes including one shaped like a castle and one decorated with a silver crown fit for Royalty. The impressive party also included pony rides and an inflatable castle for the young guests, while Chris and his friends enjoyed a game of basketball together.
Lucky Royalty was also treated to three miniature cars which are replicas of vehicles that her dad owns. Chris shared a sweet video of the one-year-old taking a ride in her new car, writing: "I haven't been this happy in a minute. #GLAD2BEHERDAD".
In another video, the Loyal singer showed Royalty surrounded by guests as she was presented with her birthday cakes.
"She didn’t know how to blow the candles out. Happy Father's Day!" Chris captioned the video.
The party followed Chris' performance at the iHeartRadio Theatre in Burbank, where he revealed that he would love to welcome a sibling for his daughter in the future.
"I think maybe [another child] five or six years from now possibly so she won't be an only child," Chris told Real 92.3 host Big Boy. "I've got brothers and sisters and I had a fun time picking on them. They were beating me up too so my daughter needs a sibling."
Chris also admitted that he is still adjusting to being a dad.
"For right now, I'm learning how to be a dad so through the process, it's good for me to actually just be able to grow with her and get that one-on-one time."
News surfaced in March that the rapper had become a father. The baby's mother is model Nia Amey, 31, who Chris has reportedly been friends with for years.
The pair kept the child secret at first, with Chris even hiding the news from his on-off girlfriend Karreuche Tran. The revelation spelled the end of the couple's relationship, with Karreuche tweeting: "Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me."
