Jessica Simpson's little boy is growing up fast. The star celebrated her son Ace's second birthday on Tuesday, marking the special occasion by hosting a fun birthday party with her husband Eric Johnson and sharing snaps with fans on Instagram.
One adorable image showed the birthday boy standing on an inflatable slide, wearing a cute printed shirt and Hawaiian patterned shorts. Ace's proud mum seemed taken aback with how quickly time had passed, writing: "2yrs OLD?!?! Can we live here forever? I love you Ace Knute Johnson. Happy Birthday!"

Jessica later shared a black-and-white photo of herself and Eric holding the two-year-old while he sipped on a drink. She captioned this one: "Happy Birthday Ace #2"
The couple's three-year-old daughter Maxwell also joined in the celebrations and appeared to be having fun - her face painted like a cat - as she clutched onto a balloon animal.

"Maxi Drew and her unicorn," Jessica captioned the photo of her first-born.
While both Maxwell and Ace appear to be taking after their mum with their blonde locks, on Tuesday Jessica likened Ace's hair to another singer.
"Ace Knute channelling his inner Harry Styles on the way home from dinner tonight #HappyBirthday #2," Jessica wrote alongside a photo of the youngster showing off a tousled quiff hairstyle.

While Jessica is clearly loving motherhood, she admitted to radio host Ryan Seacrest that she wasn't planning on having any more children.
"Oh, we are done," she told the radio host. "I say we're done. I don't want to accidentally get pregnant one day and then that poor kid feels like it wasn't meant to be or something, we've got the girl, and we've got the boy."
The pair will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on 5 July, and Jessica admits they are still in the honeymoon phase.
She said: "We have felt like that ever since we got married, we've been living on this honeymoon, for some reason life is better."
