Victoria and David Beckham have exchanged sweet messages as they celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary. The couple posted touching tributes to each other, celebrating the life they have created with their children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
Victoria was the first to post a message on Saturday, taking to Instagram to share a rare photo of their entire family posing together. "Happy anniversary, I love u so much x," she captioned the touching snap. "I'm so proud of our beautiful family x".

The family snap appears to have been taken at Elton John's wedding to David Furnish last year, and sees the Beckhams looking every inch the ultimate stylish family as they smile for the camera.

David and his sons are as dapper as ever in tailored suits and bow ties, with Romeo paying a sartorial nod to his Burberry campaign at the time by rocking one of the British heritage brand's scarves. Meanwhile, little Harper has clearly followed in mum Victoria's stylish footsteps. The youngest member of the Beckham clan looks adorable in a pale lilac floor-length gown with capped sleeves, beaming for the camera and holding on tightly to Romeo's hand.
Victoria herself shows off her style icon credentials in a long sleek dress, accessorising with her trademark black stilettos. The fashion designer wore her long black tresses down in a straight sideswept style for the star-studded bash, and rocked her signature smokey eye make-up.
Later that day David also took to social media to celebrate the milestone with his wife by sharing a throwback picture of the couple. "16 years ago today was our special day," he captioned the adorable image which sees the pair smiling together for the camera. "16 years on we have our beautiful children. Thank you for giving me our amazing little ones. Happy anniversary."

Victoria recently opened up about her hopes for her children's future during an interview at London's Victoria & Albert Museum. Victoria admitted that while she would 'love one of our children' to go into the fashion industry, particularly little Harper, she ultimately doesn't mind what career paths they choose.
"I would rather her go into fashion than be in a pop group I have to say," she told Vogue's Suzy Menkes. "But I did have fun doing that."

"Harper loves putting on my high heels and playing with my make-up," she added. "But she also has football boots and she runs around in the garden with her brothers.
"So I am not sure whether she will follow what you do or what I do, but I think what everyone wants for their kids is just for them to be happy, whatever that means they do."
