Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris looked as loved-up as ever as they celebrated the fourth of July over the long weekend. Taylor, who hosted a star-studded bash for the celebrations, shared an adorable snap of the couple joking around as they soaked up the sun.

The candid snap sees the Blank Space singer enjoying a piggy-back ride from Calvin, affectionately resting her head on his as the DJ carries her. "Friendly relations between Scotland and America," she quipped in the caption, referencing Calvin's Scottish heritage.

It seems that the pair had just come out of the swimming pool as they both rock swimsuits and have wet hair. No doubt they have been having fun with Taylor's friends including Gigi Hadid and the Haim sisters, as the singer also shared a photo of the couple resting in an inflatable swan, surrounded by smiling friends.

"Swan squad," she captioned the photo. It's not the first time that the couple have posed together with the quirky pool inflatable – earlier this year the 25-year-old songstress caused a social media frenzy after posting a picture of the pair larking around in the pool on an almost identical pool toy. "Swan goals," she had captioned the humorous photo.

Ever since going public with their relationship at the Billboard awards earlier this year, Taylor and Calvin have been virtually inseparable. When Taylor headed to London to perform in Hyde Park, she was spotted enjoying a boat ride with Calvin on the Thames, joined by the likes of Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

Calvin also revealed how smitten he is with the Shake it Off singer by referring to her as "my girl" in a tweet following his set at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas on Sunday night. He tweeted: "I just played a gig inside a giant owl and my girl just changed the entire music industry what a day."

The 31-year-old was referring to Apple Music's decision to change their payment policy after Taylor said she was refusing to allow the company to stream her album 1989. In an open letter on Tumblr, Taylor argued that it was "unfair" for the company not to pay artists for music streamed during the free three-month trial period offered to subscribers.

Apple have since announced they have changed their policy and will ensure musicians are paid throughout the free trial. "I am elated and relieved," Taylor wrote on Twitter. "Thank you for your words of support today. They listened to us."
