Morena Baccarin has split from her husband of three and a half years, according to new reports. The actress, who is best known for playing estranged wife Jessica Brody on Homeland, is said to be facing a divorce of her own off-screen.
American publication TMZ reported that it was Morena's director husband Austin Chick who filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences".
In the documents, he expressed his wish to have joint custody of the couple's 20-month-old son Julius, as well as spousal support.

The celebrity news website continued to note that Morena's fame and fortune could work against her in the legal battle and she may end up parting with some cash.
Morena has starred on hit drama Homeland since its inception in 2011. The 36-year-old received an Emmy nomination for her performance as the conflicted wife of ex-prisoner of war Nick Brody, who is played by Damian Lewis.
Morena, who is of Brazilian and Italian descent, is also known for portraying Inara Serra in the series Firefly, a space Western sci-fi show, and for appearing in the recurring role of Dr. Leslie Thompkins in the series Gotham.
The actress married producer and screenwriter Austin, 43, over Thanksgiving in 2011. Two years later their son Julius was born in October 2013 in Glendale, California.
