The rumour mill has gone into overdrive, with reports suggesting that Tom Cruise is absolutely smitten with his personal assistant Emily Thomas and is even planning to propose to her. However, the pretty brunette, who bears a striking resemblance to Tom's ex-wife Katie Holmes, has taken action and set the record straight.
Emily has changed her Facebook profile picture to one of herself – and her real life boyfriend Alex Roberts.
It turns out the 22-year-old is already in a relationship and has no plans to walk down the aisle with one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors.

Emily's latest photo was a hit with her friends, with some joking about the recent engagement rumours between her and the actor. "He looks different in the movies........x ," wrote one follower.
Emily and her actual boyfriend Alex, 25, have only been dating for a few months, but the couple have enjoyed a string of romantic getaways abroad. Emily's profile picture was taken in Rome, just before the young lovebirds headed off to Venice.
The pair looked to have enjoyed an evening of cocktails and sushi and Alex captioned the same photo which he also posted on his page: "What an amazing few days in Rome beautiful city! Off to Venice now with Emily Thomas."

"Are you two on the run???" joked a friend.
The following month Emily and Alex jetted off to Atlanta for a long weekend, with the handsome Londoner sharing a photo of his girlfriend kissing him on the cheek.
In June, Alex posted another snap from Miami, of himself and Emily rollerblading and soaking up the sunshine. "Roller blading down Miami beach loving life with Emily Thomas," he wrote.

Previous reports claimed that the personal assistant and 53-year-old Tom were secretly dating. Emily has been helping the actor on the set of his new film Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation and pictures of the pair together led to romance rumours.
"Tom was so impressed with her, he made it clear he wanted her to work with him on all his upcoming projects," a source told Mail Online at the time. A second source added to Us Weekly: "He's always flirting with her. Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is."
