Louis Tomlinson shocked fans and the celebrity world when it was reported that he is set to become a father with Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth. But it sounds like the One Direction star also took his fellow bandmates by surprise.
When asked his thoughts on Louis' baby news, fellow singer Liam Payne admitted: "Well obviously I was a bit shocked but he's taken super well to it."
The 21-year-old added to Magic Radio: "He's very excited with what's going on with him at the moment and I feel that stuff like that happens sometimes. He's taking it very seriously."

On mum-to-be Briana, who is thought to be around three-months pregnant, Liam said: "Yeah she's really nice, she's a lovely girl."
The British pop star and the celebrity stylist are said to have met through mutual friends, following Louis' split from his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder in March. The pair were spotted out and about in Los Angeles, and were pictured leaving a party together in May.
Neither Louis nor Briana, both 23, have confirmed the news themselves, although the Kiss You singer did post a cryptic message on Twitter following the announcement.
"Amazing show! Thank you for the support!!" Louis wrote after a concert in Seattle, leaving fans to question whether he was referring to "support" for his baby news.

Despite the surprise pregnancy, it sounds like the parents-to-be can't wait to meet their little one.
"Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother," a source told People. "It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer."
The source added: "Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months. They are both really happy and although they aren't in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby. It's early days and Briana and the baby's health are the most important things right now.
"Briana is a really lovely girl; she's absolutely not interested in Louis' fame. She's very private and most of the time they spend together is out of the public eye, just hanging with their friends."
