Devastated Samantha Fox has revealed that her long-term partner Myra Stratton has passed away after a two-year battle with cancer. The 49-year-old confirmed the news on Twitter, writing in a statement: "It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Myra Stratton. She was Samantha Fox's partner and manager for the last 16 years. "She bravely fought cancer for the last two years but lost her battle on Sunday. Samantha asks for privacy as she grieves."

A source told the Sun: "Sam is absolutely devastated. She adored and loved Myra and her loss has created a huge hole in her life. Myra was Sam's manager but also her best friend and lover. It's a huge loss for her. "Sam and Myra started dating in 2003, four years after Myra started managing the former pin-up star. In 2009, Sam revealed that the pair were engaged during her appearance on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here."We're engaged, we got engaged this year in Thailand," she told her fellow campmates. "The first year we met we both got tattoos on our fingers, we knew, I knew she was going to be my soulmate for the rest of my life."

TV viewers got a peek inside Sam and Myra's relationship when they appeared together on an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap back in 2008 – which saw Sam moving in with comedian Freddie Starr and Myra living with Freddie's wife Donna.In a sweet moment to camera, Sam said of Myra: "If she wasn't there, my world would fall apart. She's my soulmate and the person I have been looking for all my life."
