They've been inseparable since they first started dating last November, but Robin Thicke has denied rumours that he has popped the question to his new girlfriend April Love Geary. The Blurred Lines singer was reported to have asked April to marry him after fearing he would lose her.

However, according to Robin's representative, the engagement is "100 per cent not true", New York Daily News reports.

The denial came after stories circulated that a besotted Robin, 38, had proposed to his model love - who is 18 years his junior.

Robin Thicke started dating April Love Geary a month after he split from Paula Patton

"Robin recently proposed to April and she said yes," a source told Life & Style. "Robin's moving really quick with the relationship.

"Both his parents have told him to take some time and not rush into marriage again so soon. But he's not listening to those pleas. They go almost everywhere together. He's totally obsessed with her."

The American-Canadian artist was previously married to his Paula Patton for ten years, but the pair split after Paula filed for divorce in October 2014 – just a month before Robin found his new girlfriend. The divorce was finalised in March of this year.

While a proposal may not be on the cards, Robin and April's relationship looks to be going from strength to strength. The songwriter wasted no time in introducing April to his five-year-old son Julian, whom he shares with his ex-wife.

The couple have also been travelling the world together and enjoying romantic getaways from St Barts to Paris.

April, 20, has made no secret of her relationship with Robin and regularly shares loved-up photos of the pair on Instagram. The California girl recently posted a photo of herself and Robin leaving a Cannes Film Festival party and captioned it "#MCM" referring to her boyfriend as her man crush.

"Dreams do come true," she wrote alongside another one of the couple holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes.
