Halle Berry has reportedly lost the emerald engagement ring given to her by husband Olivier Martinez when he proposed in March 2012. According to TMZ, the silver screen beauty mislaid the stunning piece of jewellery in January 2014 during a film festival in Acapulco, Mexico. Sources told the US website that Halle thinks it slipped off her finger or someone took the ring when she put it on a table.

The couple have not replaced the sparkler because they have been too busy. A few months after their French country wedding in July 2013, the actress gave birth to their son Maceo. The couple are also parents to Nahla, her seven-year-old daughter by Gabriel Aubry.
As well as caring for the children, Halle has spent an intense two years filming TV series Extant – an experience she admitted was very challenging.
'It was tough last year. I sort of got my sea legs, as they say. I was nursing my two-month old baby when I started," she wrote in an article in Deadline. "The hours were brutal. I just was like a deer in the headlights. This year I was much more prepared."
Meanwhile, Olivier worked on two series, Texas Rising and Revenge.

Despite the tremendous juggling act, the couple are thrilled with family life. The Hollywood star praised her husband last year, describing him as "delicious".
Speaking on Ellen DeGeneres' TV show, Halle also revealed doubts that she would ever have a second child.
"I mean, I didn't think it was possible to have another baby and I thought for sure I had a need to never get married again. So I've learned never to say never," Halle confessed."Nahla prayed and prayed for like a year and a half for a baby and a bunk bed, and she got both of those things."When her host responded, "It's a miracle", Halle - now 48 - added, "Only her prayers could have done this. I didn't think it was possible at my age, honestly."
