There are no hard feelings between Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc and their former co-star Jennifer Aniston. Despite not securing invitations to Jennifer's wedding last week, the group are still good Friends.

Matt and Matthew were attending a Television Critics Association press event in Los Angeles on Monday night, when they happily spoke about Jennifer and Justin Theroux's surprise ceremony.

The 46-year-old actress and her actor fiancé married in their Bel-Air home in front of just 70-odd guests – a small wedding in Hollywood terms.

"They're a lovely couple, and I'm happy for them," said Matthew Perry

"I think they're a great couple. I think she's happy. And that's all I care about is that Jen's happy," Matt, who played Joey Tribbiani on Friends, told People. "If she wanted me there, I would have been there."

The 48-year-old was invited to Jennifer's first wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000, but at the time he was unable to attend.

"I was in Austria working," said Matt. "She called me, and she was like, 'You're really not coming to my wedding?' And I was like, 'I asked them if they could change the schedule. I would fly and clap and fly out.' And they said, 'We can't do it. It's too tight.' It was a small-budget movie in Austria you've never heard of."

Jennifer Aniston's girlfriends Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, pictured in 2003, were invited to the secret wedding

Speaking of the Friends dynamic, Matt added: "Jen's like my little sister. Courteney [Cox] and Lisa [Kudrow] are like my big sisters, but Jen's like my little sister. Matthew's like my little brother, and David [Schwimmer]'s like my big brother."

The girls, Courteney and Lisa, attended Jennifer's wedding, with best friend Courteney acting as maid of honour.

The Cougar Town star is said to have been the last guest to leave the wedding at 3am, and even joined Jennifer and Justin on their honeymoon in Bora Bora, where the group also celebrated Justin's 44th birthday.

"Jen's like my little sister, Matthew's like my little brother," said Matt LeBlanc of the Friends cast

While 45-year-old Matthew wasn't invited to the wedding, the actor gave the newlyweds his best wishes. "It was a surprise to me as well," he said. "They're a lovely couple, and I'm happy for them."

When asked whether he was sorry he missed the wedding, Matthew replied: "I wasn't invited. So what can you do?"

Jennifer and Justin tied the knot after three years together on Wednesday 5 August in Bel-Air. The couple kept their ceremony a well-guarded secret, to the extent that not all guests were told it was a wedding and turned up in casual wear, including jeans. Jimmy Kimmel officiated the ceremony.
