Ben Cohen's estranged wife Abby Cohen has broken her silence on the end of their marriage. Just a few weeks after it was confirmed that Ben is in a relationship with his former Strictly Come Dancing partner Kristina Rihanoff, Abby opened up about her split from Ben, who she said she was "with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to"."The last two years have been the most traumatic thing to ever happened to me," she told the Sun on Sunday. "He's done the dirty on me. I want people to know.

"I don’t want to cause stress or further damage by stirring things up," added Abby, who has twin daughters with former England rugby player Ben. "But I'm just trying to recover from what has been the most horrific time of my life."Abby's comments come shortly after Kristina defended her romance with Ben, insisting that their relationship only began once his 11 year marriage was over. "He left his wife a year ago," she told the Mirror. "Recently we started dating but we're allowed to see each other as two single people. "I don't know why I am always attacked," Kristina added. "I am a hard-working, self-made person. I support five people in my family in Russia. "Certainly things seem to be getting serious between Ben and Kristina; at the start of August, the sportsman took his new girlfriend on holiday, along with his twin daughters Harriette and Isabelle.

Fellow professional dancer Robin Windsor has said he thinks Ben and Kristina – who were partnered together on Strictly in 2013 - could last. "My hope for them is that they stick at it and go the distance just like any other couple,"” he told the Mirror. "Everyone has had their ups and downs."If their relationship is strong enough they'll fight through them and realise it's all about one another. "Robin added: "Kristina needs someone that is going to take care of her and look after her. She's a strong woman so as long as she's got that she'll be very happy."
