Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow surprised a wedding party celebrating in a Dublin pub on Friday by joining them for a drink. The comedy pair, who were promoting their new film Trainwreck in the city, also participated in an impromptu sing-along at the popular Grogan's pub on Friday afternoon.
Newlyweds JP Swaine and Eithne McAdam were celebrating their nuptials in the pub when Amy and Judd walked in with Irish folk singer Glen Hansard. The musician, who is best known for his role in Once, led the wedding reception with a rendition of The Auld Triangle, which Amy gamely joined despite struggling with the lyrics.
The guests appeared to be pleased to have been joined by their wedding crashers, with many sharing photos and videos of the sing-along on social media.
"Who shows up for @jpswaine and Eithne's wedding only @amyschumer, Glen Hansard and Judd Apatow," wrote one, while the groom tweeted: "It's always nice to meet new people, even on your wedding day!!"
While neither Amy nor Judd have spoken about their afternoon out, both retweeted a series of videos from their improvised performance. Amy also shared a photo of herself and Glen singing while surrounded by pints of Guinness with her 1.2 million Instagram followers.
The actress was in Dublin ahead of the premiere of Trainwreck on Friday night. The 34-year-old has been travelling around the globe to promote her film, but recently took time out to enjoy a holiday with a group of friends including The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Amy gave fans a sneak peek at their break, including posting a photo of herself and Jennifer as part of a human pyramid on board a yacht. Another image showed Amy on the back of a jet-ski being driven by Jennifer.
While their friendship appears to be relatively new, many fans are hoping it is a sign of a potential collaboration between the Oscar-winner and the funny woman. One fan wrote: "Feels like my dream of Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence playing sisters in a movie is one step closer to happening."
