The 22-year-old burst into tears while she sang the group's emotional new song The End, as part of their fourth anniversary global live stream fan event in New York. Perrie broke down after singing the lyrics, "no one can love you, the way I used to do", and was quickly comforted by her supportive bandmates.

"It's been a long day, we haven't had any sleep," Jesy Nelson told the concerned crowd, who in turn expressed their support by shouting: "We love you Perrie."

Perrie has been kept busy on a promotional tour across America since news broke that Zayn had ended their engagement in July. The Black Magic singer has been supported through the break-up by her bandmates and told James Corden on Monday that she thanks her "lucky stars" that her friends have been there for her.

"Do you know what? I am good," she told The Late, Late Show host. "I wake up every day and thank my lucky stars that I have these three girls."

Despite being "devastated" by the break-up, Perrie has been keeping her spirits up throughout Little Mix's busy promotional tour and has shared lots of fun-filled snaps on Instagram, including a series of photos from their recent trip to Las Vegas.

Meanwhile Zayn has also been in Los Angeles where he is believed to be working on his debut solo album. The former One Direction star has kept quiet about the split but riled DJ Calvin Harris when he appeared to criticise Taylor Swift on Twitter at the weekend.

The former couple have also put their £4.2million mansion in London up for sale following their split, which comes just two months after they moved in together.
