Pippa Middleton and her brother James Middleton have been lapping up the sunshine on a family holiday on the Caribbean island of St Barts. The inseparable siblings, who often socialise side-by-side as well as taking part in sporting events and challenges together, enjoyed some downtime alongside mum Carole Middleton and a male friend as they floated on a pontoon.The brother and sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, were seen playing by the clear blue waters as their mother looked on. Pippa, 31, showed off her toned figure in a red bikini while James sported a pair of bathing shorts, sunglasses and his trademark beard.
The branding on the pontoon suggests that Kate's family was relaxing in St. Jean Bay, which is overlooked by Eden Rock. The luxury hotel resort is owned by the family of Pippa's former boyfriend and investment banker James Matthews, with whom the Middletons are holidaying.Situated on a rocky promontory, the chic retreat was built in the 1950s when it quickly became established as the preferred bolthole for the likes of Greta Garbo and Howard Hughes.The Middletons' luxurious getaway comes more than a month after the family celebrated the christening of its most recent addition, Princess Charlotte.
Neither James' girlfriend Donna Air, nor Pippa's boyfriend Nico Jackson secured an invite for the intimate gathering, which was attended only by close family members and Charlotte's five godparents, and took place at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.
Pippa won plaudits from fashion fans around the world when she stepped out in a bespoke Emilia Wickstead high-necked cream coatdress and a Jane Taylor Millinery hat. The outfit complemented her sister's perfectly, with the stylish siblings stepping out in similar looks for the family occasion.
Not only did the christening mark an important milestone for Princess Charlotte, it was also the first time that Prince William and Kate appeared together as a family of four with their children.
