Lewis Hamilton has finally addressed speculation about the nature of his relationship with Rihanna. The pair have been the subject of relationship rumours for weeks after they were spotted partying together in Barbados, but the Formula One champion has denied they're anything more than friends.
"You know, I've known Ri for a long time," Lewis told E! "We've been friends for a while. We get to hang out every now and again… otherwise, we're just good friends."
Lewis and Rihanna were first linked when they were pictured partying together at the annual Crop Over Festival in Barbados in August. A source told E! News at the time that a romance was heating up, but Rihanna wasn't in any rush to get into a relationship.

"Rihanna also spent time with her friends and family but Lewis was the only romantic interest on her mind," the source said. "She is not at any point in her life now ready to settle just for anyone, but she is enjoying the time she has with her friends and also focusing on work."
The pair have since been spotted dining together in New York, as well as both arriving at the same nightclub within minutes of each other in August, fuelling rumours that they are dating.
Lewis previously dated Nicole Scherzinger
Lewis is single after splitting from his long-term girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger in February, reportedly due to their differing views on marriage. He has since been linked to a number of famous ladies including Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, with reports in June suggesting that Kris Jenner was keen to set her daughter up with the racing driver.
Meanwhile his ex-girlfriend Nicole has recently been linked to Ed Sheeran, with reports suggesting that they had called time on their budding romance due to the age gap between them. However Nicole quashed the reports with an amusing Instagram video on Sunday, joking that she was "totes emosh" about her rumoured break-up.
Nicole captioned the video: "#TotesEmosh (Totally Emotional) that @teddysphotos and I broke up today #OrangeIsntTheNewBlackAnymore #ScherzyLosesItAfterSheeranBreakUp #NoMoreSheerzinger".
