Brooklyn Beckham was reunited with dad David in New York this weekend, and the 16-year-old was quickly back to playfully teasing his father as they enjoyed some quality father-son time. Taking to Instagram to post a photo of the pair, Brooklyn didn't miss the opportunity to make a quip about who was "cooler".
Brooklyn Beckham has quipped that David "isn't happy about me being cooler"
"Dads not happy about me being cooler than him," he told his 4.2 million followers, alongside the black-and-white snap. Smouldering for the camera, Brooklyn grins as he sits next to his football legend dad, who pretends to look slightly annoyed at his son. However it's clearly in jest, as David is unable to completely hold back a smile.
It's not the first time the pair have enjoyed some friendly competition – when Brooklyn first reached one million followers on Instagram he posted a short clip to share the news, only for David to jump in and quip, "I've got 52!"
"Reached 1 million followers on my mums birthday," explained Brooklyn in the caption. "Thank u guys so much #ismydadcoolerthanme."

It's an exciting weekend for the Beckham family, as Victoria prepares for her Spring/Summer 2016 catwalk show – one of the most anticipated presentations in the New York Fashion Week calendar.
While David touched down in America on Friday, Brooklyn has already been in the Big Apple for a few days. The young model spent some time with his mother as she put the final touches to her show, before heading to the Polo Ralph Lauren presentation.
Looking as effortlessly cool as ever, Brooklyn was spotted hanging out with Selena Gomez at the show, before meeting Ralph Lauren himself. The fashionable teen was clearly star struck at the introduction, taking to Instagram to share the exciting moment.
"An honour meeting this man today @poloralphlauren #nyfw," he wrote alongside a photo of the two.
