Elizabeth Olsen has denied reports that she is dating actor Tom Hiddleston. The pair sparked relationship rumours in July after they were spotted on several outings together, including enjoying a romantic dinner at The Wolseley, but Elizabeth has insisted they are merely good friends.
"I mean, we definitely are friends and have known each other for about four years," she told Refinery 29, adding: "We happened to be at a restaurant at a wrong time having dinner. We all go out to dinner."

The actress also admitted she had been linked to other high profile actors in the past, telling the publication: "Well, apparently, I'm dating Chris Evans, and apparently, I've dated Jeremy Renner… I don't react to it."
Elizabeth was then directly asked if she was dating Tom, to which she replied: "No. I mean people can think what they want to think."
The 26-year-old is said to have become close to Tom after they played husband and wife in the Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light. The biopic, which is scheduled for release in November, revolves around country music singer Hank's rise to fame and sudden death at the age of 29.

Elizabeth and Thor star Tom were spotted together on several occasions during the summer. As well as their dinner in central London, they also paid a visit to Oxford, where Tom fuelled relationship rumours after being pictured draping his arm over Elizabeth's shoulders.
In May, Us Weekly reported that Tom and Elizabeth had taken their romance off-screen, but that the couple were taking things slowly. "It's casual," the insider said, but that they "text when they're apart".
Elizabeth is single after splitting from her fiancé Boyd Holbrook in January. "She wants to make a new life for herself," the source added to Us Weekly. "She's having fun."
