Protective dad David Beckham has disclosed that he checks all of Brooklyn Beckham's posts before he puts them out on social media. While he admitted that it is his wife, Victoria Beckham, that is the strict one in the household, the former football star revealed that they both "control everything" Brooklyn posts on his social media sites. "Because our 16-year-old son, Brooklyn, he's got like four million Instagram followers. We control everything that he posts, everything that he does, and it's the same with our other kids."
David has spoken out about screening his son Brooklyn's social media posts
David also admitted that though he'd love his sons to follow in his footballing footsteps, ultimately he wants them to follow their own passions in life. "I'd love them to play soccer, but I want them to be happy doing it, you know," said the football legend. "One of my boys turned around to me the other day, he said, 'Daddy, you know, I'm not sure I want to play football all the time...' It broke my heart a little bit". He said, “‘Every time that I step onto the field, I know people are saying, you know, 'This is David Beckham's son,' and if I'm not as good as you, then it's not good enough.'"Not wanting his sons to feel any pressure because of his achievements he told them "You play because you want to play. You play because it makes you happy.'"
David also praised his wife Victoria's "incredible" dedication to her company
Finishing off the interview David discussed his marriage to former Spice Girls singer Victoria praising her for the "incredible" dedication to her fashion company.
"My wife, you know, she’s a hard worker." He said before adding that he believes the real key to a happy relationship is trust. "We've been together for 18 years, we've been married for 16 years. So you trust each other's judgment. I think that has worked for us."
