Ever since splitting up with his fiancée, Zayn Malik has had fans wondering when he'll be ready to re-enter the dating game. The former One Direction singer gave them a clue by posting a picture of himself with a mystery blonde girl, his arm wrapped proprietorially around her, their faces touching.
His Instagram followers were quick to point out that she looked very similar to his ex Perrie Edwards. Others speculated that it was Gage Golightly, best known for playing Erica Reyes on MTV's Teen Wolf.

However, Gage quickly cleared up the rumours on her social media site, saying: "Just wanted to clarify that I am not the girl in the photo.... But what a lucky girl!"
It's quite possible Zayn is teasing fans and the picture is a promotional shot for his new music. After parting company with the boys, the Yorkshire lad signed a new record deal with RCA Records.
He tweeted a picture of himself inking the contract, with the caption: "I guess I never really explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who I really am! #realmusic #RCA!!". The pop pin up later shared a second tweet that read: "#REALME."
Life has changed radically for the Bradford boy this year. He and Perrie, both 22, ended their engagement in August after three years together, with the Little Mix singer reportedly left heartbroken.
Asked about the break up, she told chat show host James Corden that despite the sadness she was "good" thanks to her Little Mix bandmates. Meanwhile, Zayn has been in LA concentrating on creating new music and making new friends, attending Kylie Jenner's recent 18th birthday party.
