Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are taking the next step towards divorce and have reportedly put their Los Angeles home up for sale. The amicable exes are seeking nearly £30million for the property, which is located in the affluent neighbourhood of Pacific Palisades.
According to Variety, the mansion has gone up for sale and has already had one viewer, businessman Lachlan Murdoch, who declined to put in an offer.
Ben and Jennifer bought the mansion in 2009, four years after tying the knot, for a reported £11million.

The home in question is situated down a long, tree-lined drive and is gated and paparazzi-proof. It consists of a main ranch-style property that has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
A secondary structure houses an office, an art studio, a gym and two bathrooms while another guesthouse contains two bedrooms, three bathrooms, an entertainment lounge and a state-of-the-art screening room.
Recreational spaces include a football-sized lawn, a half-court basketball court, a sweeping piazza and a swimming pool.
The one-storey home was designed by architect Cliff May in the late 1930s and some of its previous owners include Gregory Peck and producer Brian Grazer.

The couple announced their separation on 30 June, one day after their tenth wedding anniversary. Releasing a joint statement, Ben and Jennifer wrote: "After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."
The ex-couple have three children together – Violet nine, Seraphina, six, and three-year-old Samuel.
