Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas fuelled romance rumours when they were pictured enjoying a fun-filled weekend together in Orlando, but a source has said their relationship isn't serious. The pair, who have a 13-year age gap between them, reportedly enjoyed a very brief romance at the end of September.
"It was just a fling," a source close to Kate told People. "It's definitely not anything serious."
They added: "They are both single and seeing other people too. Kate's mostly focusing on her boys and doesn't want a serious relationship right now."
Kate Hudson enjoyed a brief romance with Nick Jonas
Nick and Kate were rumoured to be dating when they were spotted together on several occasions over one weekend in September. The pair were seen giggling happily on rides at Disney World in Orlando, followed by a cosy brunch in Miami. Kate also turned up when the 23-year-old musician performed at the House of Blues in Orlando, where he sung his new single Levels.
However the musician is staying quiet about the nature of his relationship with the How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days actress, telling US radio host Dana McKay that he wasn't going to talk about it.
"Okay, I have to ask you. I hope you don't get mad at me. What was going on with you and Kate Hudson this weekend?" Dana asked, to which Nick replied: "I'm not gonna get mad at you, but I'm also not gonna talk about it."
Nick avoided answering questions about Kate
"You don't kiss and tell?" Dana persisted.
"I keep some things to myself," Nick answered.
Nick is the first person Kate has been linked to following the end of her relationship with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy in late 2014. Nick is also single after calling time on his two-year relationship with former Miss USA Olivia Culpo earlier this year, but has since been linked to Kendall Jenner and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Kate's ex-fiancé has also moved on with new girlfriend Elle Evans, 25. The pair have been the subject of romance reports since February.
