Thieves managed to break into Jamie Oliver's home in London earlier this month, by forcing their way into the garage. A neighbour called the police after noticing that a door to the £7million property in Primrose Hill had been left open.
Jamie, his wife Jools and the couple's four children were thought to be away in their country mansion in Essex for the weekend, making it the opportune moment for burglars to target the area.
A spokesperson for the celebrity chef said that "only the adjacent basement" was broken into and that nothing had been "ransacked".

A representative for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the burglary happened on Friday 2 October and that officers were called to the north London property shortly after 9pm. They are working to track down the criminals.
"The police regularly advise us to review our security arrangements at this time of year as burglars are known to scout the area looking for empty homes," a local told The Telegraph.
"Jamie's home has got CCTV, but it seems it didn't help in this instance as the burglars got in through the garage."
The 40-year-old chef and his family live in an eight-bedroom house in the affluent area of Primrose Hill. The Olivers are reportedly looking to move out of the four-storey property and relocate to nearby Hampstead, home to Kate Moss, George Michael and Jude Law among other stars.

Jamie purchased the 17th century Grade II listed home – said to be worth £10million – in July, but refurbishments are still being carried out on the property.
Luxury estate agent Savills described the house as having a beautiful interior, including "wonderful" panelled rooms and a "particularly fine" staircase. The home also boasts period features, extensive gardens and spectacular views.
Teenage sweethearts Jamie and Jools are parents to three daughters, Poppy Honey, Daisy Boo and Petal Blossom, and a son, Buddy Bear. Their children range in age from five to 13.
