David Beckham gave fans an insight into what life in the Beckham household is like, by sharing a photo of himself wrestling his eldest son Brooklyn to the ground. The father-son duo showed off their playful sides on Instagram, each insisting that they had come out on top.
"Just a normal Sunday in the Beckham household... Master Brooklyn trying to take on 40 year old dad and losing again #dontmesswithdad #nexttimeson @brooklynbeckham," wrote a jubilant David.
The retired football player had his teenage son in a playful headlock, and was pictured grinning madly at the camera as he crowned himself the winner.

"In your dreams dad @davidbeckham," Brooklyn responded, with a photo of himself tightening his grip around his father's neck.
Despite their shenanigans, the pair enjoy a close bond and constantly post photos together on social media. Last month Brooklyn, 16, mocked his famous father with another photo, quipping that he was "cooler" than the former Manchester United player.
"Dad's not happy about me being cooler than him," teased Brooklyn.

It's not the first time the duo have entered into some friendly competition. When Brooklyn first reached one million followers on Instagram he posted a short clip to share the news, only for David to jump in and quip "I've got 52!" referring to his millions of Facebook fans.
It seems Brooklyn is fast surpassing his dad in the popularity stakes.
"He gets so much attention when we're out," David recently admitted
"It's interesting going out with him though because he gets so much attention when we're out," David recently admitted on Manchester radio station KEY 103.
"We normally get people now coming up and saying, 'Would you mind taking a picture with me?', and they're actually talking to Brooklyn rather than myself. And I'm the one that takes the picture!"
David and his wife Victoria are also doting parents to sons Romeo and Cruz and four-year-old daughter Harper. The supportive father was pictured jetting into Los Angeles over the weekend with 13-year-old Romeo. The young Burberry model rocked a leather jacket and a beanie, and matched his dad in high-tops and black skinny jeans.
