Nicole Kidman's daughter Isabella starts married life in Croydon

Over the years Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's adopted daughter Isabella has shied away from the public eye. The 22-year-old managed to tie the knot in secret with her fiancé Max Parker last month, and it seems that Isabella is keen to keep her married life out of the spotlight.

Bella, as she is known by her friends, has moved to the residential area of Croydon in south London, Woman's Day reports.

Bella is instead turning her back on the luxuries of her younger years and has chosen to settle in the outskirts of the capital, where her husband's family originate from. Her mum Nicole is said to be concerned about Bella's choice of location.

"Nicole was thrilled by news of Bella's nuptials, despite wishing she could have attended," a source told the publication. "But she is said to be worried about her adoptive daughter's residence in one of London's least desirable suburbs."

Contrary to various reports, the 48-year-old actress gave full support for her daughter's recent marriage and even played a part in the preparations. Despite being in London for her West End play Photograph 51, Nicole did not attend the intimate wedding, and neither did her ex-husband Tom.

"The ceremony was low-key but very expensive," a source told Mail Online. "Tom picked up the bill and paid for everything, but it was decided that neither he nor Nicole should attend as it would have turned the whole event into a circus."

Bella and IT consultant Max, who met through friends less than a year ago, tied the knot on 18 September at The Dorchester Hotel in London. The couple married in a Scientology ceremony in one of the five star hotel's function rooms, as Isabella shares her father's beliefs in the faith.

Her brother Connor did not attend either, to keep the wedding as low-key as possible.

The newlyweds were joined by a small group of friends for their reception, held at a trendy bar in Shoreditch, east London.
