Khloé Kardashian has spoken for the first time about "the incredibly difficult week" that has seen her estranged husband Lamar Odom admitted into hospital having been found unconscious, to wake from a coma four days later.In a statement posted on her website Khloé thanks "family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar" before going on to express her gratitude to "the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work" who cared for Lamar at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas where he was initially admitted.

Khloé has remained at Lamar's side throughout his treatmentThe 31-year-old continued: "You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. "On Monday Lamar was transported to a Los Angeles hospital via helicopter, with Khloé by his side. He is now recovering at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, according to People magazine.
The reality TV star thanked the doctors and nurses who have been helping Lamar on the road to recoveryThe former NBA player's family issued a statement upon his move to LA, revealing that the basketball star continues to recover and has even taken a few steps. "As Lamar begins a new chapter in his road to recovery, please continue to uplift him and the family in prayer. He continues to make his miraculous progress, taking a few steps in Los Angeles. "We couldn't be more overjoyed. We realise Lamar's continued improvement will not be easy, however his unrelenting strength and faith in God will pull him through," they said.
