Novak Djokovic is set to celebrate an important milestone in his family life – his son's first birthday. The doting dad clearly wants to give his little boy the best birthday ever and has been pulling out all the stops in preparation.

The three-time Wimbledon champion has even had a go at balloon-making, insisting in a sweet Facebook message that "it's always important to try".

A video posted online shows Novak, 28, making a balloon in the shape of a dog for his toddler son Stefan. The fair-haired boy is heard saying "Mama" in the background and squealing when he's presented with the "barking" balloon.

Preparing for Stefan's bday. I wanted to be full on daddy and bring out all the tricks :) my dog balloon was not such a success but as I said, it is always important to give it a try :) it's been an amazing year with lots of travel but this is the place I always come back to, and always want to be. Home with my wife and son and dogs #familytime #happymomentsU pripremama za Stefanov rođendan tata mora da bude i mađioničar :) znam da nije najsavršenija kuca od balona, ali važno je da sam se potrudio, zar ne? :) Ovo je do sada bila neverovatna godina. Toliko pređenih meridijana, ali na kraju dana moje omiljeno mesto je topli dom pored Jelene, našeg divnog dečaka i naših ljubimaca :)
