Ed Sheeran was celebrating on Friday after passing his driving test. The Thinking Out Loud singer, who is planning to take a nine-month break from December, shared the good news on Twitter.
"Passed my driving test yesterday, zoom zoom zoom," Ed tweeted.
Ed's driving licence comes in good time after he recently said he was planning to take a break from the spotlight to "drive to places and listen to music".

Speaking to The Sun, Ed explained: "I'll put a post out saying, 'I'm with friends and family – if you love me you'll allow me to disappear for a few months and I'll speak to you in a bit.'
"I think a break for me is coming off my phone, social media and emails. I am constantly on my phone, texting, replying to emails, on Twitter, on Snapchat, on Facebook."
He continued: "I just want to get off it and live and drive to places and listen to music and have normal conversations with people and get back to normality. I've got a packed schedule, then, when December 12 comes, it's done."
However Ed won't just be resting on his laurels, he will also be working on the follow up album to his award-winning release X. The 24-year-old has already begun writing tracks for his third studio album, and told Billboard what fans can expect from his new music.
"They're very real and from the heart. That's what I'm trying to get from this record, to make an album that's honest," Ed revealed, adding that he has high hopes for the album's success.
"I know this third record's going to be better than anything I've done," he said. "I'm positive that this is going to be the really big one."
