Kylie Minogue has an extra special gift for her fans this festive season as she is launching her own Christmas album. Speaking to HELLO! at the Oxford Street Christmas Lights switch on, sponsored by jewellery brand Pandora, Kylie said it had always been her dream to record her own compilation of Christmas songs.
"Getting to make my own Christmas album is a real gift. I'm so excited for people to hear it because it's been Christmas for me since June so now I’m like 'Yes! Everyone's catching up'," Kylie told HELLO! magazine.

Kylie was responsible for kick-starting the celebrations in London by switching on the Oxford Street Christmas lights on Sunday. The 47-year-old took to the stage outside Pandora's flagship store by Marble Arch to light up the bustling street following performances from Foxes, X Factor winner Ben Haenow and runner-up Fleur East.
The Spinning Around singer was clearly excited to be given the honour judging by a series of snaps shared with fans on Instagram. "What FUN!!!! Thank you London. So happy to share the festivities with you all!" she captioned one picture with Capital FM hosts Lisa Snowdon and Dave Berry.

The pop princess also shared her excitement at hearing Christmas song It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, which features on her album Kylie Christmas – alongside duets with Iggy Pop and The Late, Late Show host James Corden.
"OMG, it was SO exciting to hear 'It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year' on Oxford Street tonight :D," she wrote.
The singer had a busy weekend after spending Saturday afternoon at the Rugby World Cup final with her boyfriend Joshua Sasse.
Although Kylie was disappointed with Australia's defeat by New Zealand, her relationship seems to being going from strength to strength. She has shared the first snap of herself together with Joshua since they were initially linked in September.
