Ashton Kutcher had fans speculating whether a photo he posted on Instagram was of his young daughter Wyatt. The actor and his wife Mila Kunis are notoriously protective of their little bundle of joy and have yet to share any snaps online – until now, it seems.

The picture shows an adorable dark-haired girl holding onto a balcony railing and pointing up to the sky, with her face partially hidden from view.

"Wyatt!!!!!!!" one excited fan commented, while another asked, "Baby Wyatt???"

Fans speculated whether Ashton Kutcher had just shared his first photo of Wyatt

In true philanthropic style, Ashton uploaded the photo to raise awareness for an important cause.

The doting dad was highlighting the Red Sand Project, which has been created by artist Molly Gochman in the hope of reminding people that they "can't merely walk over the most marginalised people in our communities – those who fall through the metaphoric cracks."

"39 million people have fallen through the cracks into modern day slavery. #redsandproject," Ashton wrote alongside his photo.

"Ashton and Mila include Wyatt in everything," a source recently said

The 37-year-old actor and his wife Mila welcomed their first child in October 2014. While Ashton has yet to clarify whether the girl in the photo is baby Wyatt, it wouldn't be a long stretch to imagine this as the child looks to be the right age. She also sports Ashton's wispy brunette hair and Mila's cool and quirky style.

"Ashton and Mila include Wyatt in everything," a source told E! News recently. "They take her on hikes, out to breakfast and to the beach. She loves being outside so that's a big part of their routine.

"They also do baby classes and take her on play dates with their friends who have kids. They've done a lot of road trips and think she's very adaptable and easy going."
