Lucy Mecklenburgh and Louis Smith celebrated their first anniversary together on Monday by reminiscing on how their relationship began. The loved-up pair recreated their first date, which saw them tuck into a homemade roast dinner before decorating their Christmas tree.
The former TOWIE star shared a video from their romantic night in, showing herself and Louis constructing and decorating their tree while his pet dog Luna runs around the living room.

"Tonight we replicated our first date… 1 year on…" Lucy wrote on Twitter.
The 24-year-old had earlier revealed that she was planning to cook her first roast dinner for Louis, and asked her followers for advice to ensure it was perfect. However it appears she had no need to worry as she later tweeted to say that it was "delicious".
Lucy and Louis began dating in late 2014 after meeting on the set of BBC gymnastics show Tumble. They are undeniably head over heels in love, but fans will have to wait a little longer before they hear wedding bells.

"I'm sorry but we're not (engaged)," Louis said during an appearance on Loose Women in June. Then, with panellist Jamelia begging him to propose, Louis turned to the camera and said: "I'm sorry to disappoint you Lucy, but we're not getting engaged – yet."
However Lucy has recently said she is in no rush to settle down, explaining that she enjoys the fact that they are still living separately and don't get to see each other every day.
"In a way, it's nice that I don't see him every day because when I do see him, it makes it more special and we still live our separate lives," Lucy told Mail Online. "And that's working at the moment.
"[The relationship] is really easy. It works and we get on really well and we're best friends as well."
