After going through a dramatic split from her husband Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian is well qualified to talk about heartbreak. The 31-year-old offered her advice to a fan who said she was brokenhearted during a Twitter chat on Wednesday, telling her to "move on up" following her break-up.
"What's your greatest piece of advice for a girl with a broken heart?" the fan tweeted to the reality TV star, prompting Khloé to reply: "Let it hurt, don't pretend it doesn't. Then brush yourself off, realize it's his loss, and move on up!!"
Khloe Kardashian shared her advice with a heartbroken fan
Khloé has been dealing with her own personal issues in recent months after her estranged husband Lamar was hospitalised in a critical condition following a drug overdose in October. While supporting him through his recovery, Khloé was struck down with a staph infection, leading her to dub 2015 as the "worst year of my life".
However the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is staying strong, and opened up about how she stays positive in a personal video shared on her app recently.
"Sometimes a little ice cream helps when you are down in the dumps," Khloé said. "But you know what? Music is a mood changer. If I am sad and I listen to something sad, a love song or whatever, I am going to be sadder and cry."
She continued: "I work out so much better when I am sad or upset. I have so much energy when I am angry. So either go to the gym, watch a funny movie, watch some good light-hearted TV, or call one of your girlfriends that always makes you laugh."
Khloé didn't let her challenging few weeks stand in the way of her family Thanksgiving celebrations at the end of November. The youngest Kardashian sister hosted a lavish celebration for the rest of her family, including Caitlyn Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian's ex Scott Disick and Kylie Jenner's on-off boyfriend Tyga.
