Demi Lovato 'heartbroken' over the death of friend Chris Carney

Demi Lovato has been left "speechless" and "heartbroken" after discovering that her friend Chris Carney has passed away.The Skyscraper singer, who starred in the Disney Channel show Sonny with a Chance with Chris' widow Tiffany Thornton, took to her Instagram page to express her sadness and condolences.Close friend of Demi and her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, Chris, was killed in a car accident in Arkansas on Friday morning. This was a very sudden and sad loss as Chris was only 35-years-old.

The former Disney star shared a touching photo from Tiffany and Chris' 2011 wedding, in which she served as bridesmaid. Alongside the sweet snap Demi wrote: "Been trying to figure out what to say all day… This morning I woke up to terrible news. My good friend Chris Carney has passed away. This pictures is a perfect example od the love he shared with Tiff and how much fun he was to be around. I’ve been to many weddings but this is by far the most memorable because the way they looked into each other’s eyes and the love they had for one another. There were tons of laughs and tons of tears and I’ll never forget the way he looked at her."

Struggling to comprehend the sad news she added: "It doesn’t seem real and I’m still in shock…still speechless. I don’t know how to put words how heartbroken I am for Tiffany and their two baby boys.
