Now 36 weeks along, Sam Faiers had a wonderful time when friends and family threw her a baby shower. The reality TV star, who is expecting her first child with her property developer partner Paul Knightley, spoke about the party on her Instagram site, thanking everyone who had come along.
The 24-year-old said she would be sharing pictures shortly. Boutique clothing owner Sam has so far had a fairly stress-free pregnancy, saying she hasn't "felt poorly at all, and it's all gone very smoothly so far".
The mum-to-be has been working throughout, sharing a picture of herself at her store Minnies and then attending a Christmas party with her colleagues.
The couple do not know the gender of their baby, as Sam exclusively revealed in an interview with HELLO! Online.
"We don't know the sex of the baby and we aren't going to find out," she confided at the launch of her new fragrance Pure. "We did consider it for a while but we have decided that we want to keep it as a surprise, not just for our family and friends but also for ourselves."
Sam and 26-year-old Paul have been dating quietly for a year and took a babymoon in November to have some time to themselves before their new arrival. She jetted off to the Maldives, telling her fans it was her "last trip before I'm a mummy".
The brunette beauty, who confirmed her pregnancy in August, had previously marked the couple's first anniversary together by posting a collage of their favourite pictures. In her post she told him: "I have had the most amazing year with you ❤️ you are going to be the most wonderful daddy... I couldn't ask for more."
