Lewis Hamilton is happy to remain a single man following his split from Nicole Scherzinger. The Formula One champion, whose seven-year relationship with the singer came to an end in February, said he is enjoying single life for the time being.
Speaking during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, Lewis confirmed that he was on the market, explaining: "Yes it's different, I've been in two relationships in my life, I was 18 to 22 and 23 to 30 and so I missed the single life that all my friends had and now I've just been throwing myself at work, I've worked harder than ever this year, as I said I've travelled like crazy, I've experienced everything I want to experience."

The 30-year-old also admitted that he had been dating occasionally following the break-up.
"Occasionally yes," Lewis smiled. "I'm enjoying it, it's really good fun, it's a fun period of time in my life."
Lewis has been linked to a bevy of beauties including Rihanna following his split earlier this year, but previously denied that he and the Diamonds hitmaker are anything more than friends. It was also suggested that he and Nicole could have reconciled their relationship after they were both spotted partying at the same nightclub in November, however a rep for the singer said it was a "coincidence" that they were out at the same event.

While Nicole has also insisted that she is single during recent interviews, the former Pussycat Doll has reportedly been dating tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov since he split from Maria Sharapova in July.
"Nicole is dating Grigor. They're completely besotted with each other," a source told The Sun. "But they've been careful not to be pictured together because they don't want the pressure of the relationship being in the public eye."
