The Sears family were out in full force to watch Kim's brother Scott take part in a military parade at Sandhurst, in the presence of Prince Charles. It was Scott's big day as he marked an important milestone in his army career but radiant Kim, who is due to give birth in the next couple of months, managed to steal some of the spotlight.

The pretty artist has been keeping a relatively low-profile throughout her pregnancy – her first with her new husband Andy Murray. But on Thursday Kim was more than happy to pose for official photographs with her brother and parents.

Fans hoping to see how much she is showing may have been disappointed, as Kim wrapped up from the winter chill in a wool and cashmere coat and a burgundy dress.

The 28-year-old opted for maternity brand Seraphine – a favourite with pregnant stars including the Duchess of Cambridge and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.

Kim looked happy and healthy, positively glowing in the third trimester of her pregnancy. The nation's favourite tennis wife announced her pregnancy in August, which would mean she is about seven months pregnant.

Kim's brother Scott took part in the Sovereign's Parade – a highlight of the Sandhurst calendar

At Sandhurst, Kim and her parents Nigel and Leonore watched as Scott took part in the Sovereign's Parade. The parade, which is considered the grandest day in the Sandhurst calendar, is held at the end of each term and marks the passing out from Sandhurst of Officer Cadets.

The cadets have successfully completed the Commissioning Course as a result of many hours of hard work and the parade is their final challenge. Friends, family and VIPs including Kim gathered at Old College Square to watch.

A highlight of the ceremony for some will have been meeting Prince Charles. The future King walked along the rows of cadets and spoke to them – something he did when his own sons Princes William and Harry attended Sandhurst.

"I have every confidence you will rise to the challenges you will encounter," Prince Charles told the cadets

During the ceremony, the Sword of Honour, the Overseas Sword and the Queen's Medal were also awarded by the Sovereign's Representative to the top Officer Cadets.

Speaking to the young army officers in front of their friends and family members, Charles said: "I believe that there are men and women on parade today who will confront trials as great as any faced by our forebears who carried us through two world wars.

"I have every confidence that you will rise to the challenges that you will encounter, not only with the humbling courage they displayed, but with the courageous humility that success in our globalised world demands."
