Nicole Kidman has opened up about her marriage to her ex-husband Tom Cruise. "I was a baby when I married Tom, but I don’t regret any of it," the actress admitted to the Evening Standard.The Grace of Monaco star first met the handsome young actor on the set of Days of Thunder and quickly feel in love with him. The pair soon became an item and married in 1990, when Nicole was 23-years-old. Shortly after their nuptials the couple decided to adopt two children, Isabella and Connor. After 11 years of marriage the duo decided to call it quits in 2001 and were granted a divorce.

Following the divorce, the now 48-year-old, retreated from the spotlight. It was a very difficult time for the actress, who has since admitted that this period was the "loneliest" she had ever felt. Luckily the star went on to find love again, this time with country music singer Keith Urban. The couple met in 2005 and married a year later in a lavish ceremony held in Australia. When questioned about the difference in her two marriages the mum-of-four replied: "Any time you have a chance at something again is good, but each combination of people is different. "After almost 10 years of marriage Keith and Nicole seem happier than ever. "It’s unbelievable that we found each other and at that stage in our lives were able to connect in that way and be that open to what the future was going to be," she told Vogue.

"But we really commit to each other and give to the relationship; our priority is to be together. I don’t ever take it for granted. What I have now – the life I have with Keith and with my whole family – it doesn’t just tumble into your lap; it’s from setting my sights on it and saying ‘ I so don’t want to be alone, I don’t want to walk this alone’ and I found that."
