Aren't 4th Impact the sweetest? The former X Factor contestants have made dozens of children's dreams come true as they paid a visit to a local hospital in Birmingham.

The four sisters from the Philippines – Mylene, Irene, Celina and Almira – showed the true spirit of Christmas by visiting the Birmingham Children's Hospital on Tuesday, where several ill young patients will be spending the holidays.

Moving from ward to ward, the girls spread love and festive cheer, while also performing a few Christmas tunes for the youngsters.

The pint-sized pop stars said they felt "blessed" to share their talent and their priority was to make the patients happy.

One boy they visited was called Jack, who showed his support for the girl group by holding up four fingers – 4th Impact's trademark sign. They chatted to another girl, high-fiving the youngster, while also entertaining baby Nathan with some colourful balloons.

The sisters then gave a sweet rendition to a birthday girl, before performing festive favourite All I Want For Christmas Is You.

4th Impact have decided to remain in the UK, having flown over from their native Manila to compete in The X Factor. The girls, who made it to the final five acts, will be performing in The X Factor live tour next year.

Speaking to HELLO! Online shortly after their elimination, the sisters spoke about their festive plans. They are being supported every step of the way by their mum Erlinda in London, while their dad, who is sick, remains in the Philippines with their other siblings.

"We really wanted to celebrate Christmas with our dad back in the Philippines," said Mylene, 23. "But we've decided to stay in the UK before the tour. We're hoping for a White Christmas – we want to see snow!"

"We want to see how British people celebrate Christmas," said Almira, 28. "We want to see Buckingham Palace and see fireworks at New Years and then hopefully next year on tour our dad can come watch us if he's better."

"If you don't give up on your dreams something will happen," the sisters said

The eldest of the sisters added: "We've been trying to make it for ten years and almost came to a point where we had given up. But this has just proved that if you don't give up on your dreams something will happen and you have to believe in it. We can't wait for the new beginning after the end of X Factor!"
